thinking laterally about training packages

Here’s a pearl of an idea for encouraging the uptake of training packages in the workplace. Modify some FOSS HRM software so that it includes qualifications and skills from the training packages (linked to pay increases, training plans and performance review) and give it away to small and medium enterprises in your area. They get an instant training and HR tool (you could even add job descriptions and auto-job-advertising modules) and you get a workforce more focussed onĀ  nationally recongnised training…

And once you’ve built your HR training machine, here’s a couple of thought starters for spreading the good word…
